ANGELA BAGGETTA HAYES, Vice President, Director of Publicity

Angela Baggetta Hayes is vice president, director of publicity, for Goldberg McDuffie Communications. Since joining Goldberg McDuffie in 2003, Angela has worked on a number of bestsellers including The Three Trillion Dollar War by Joseph E. Stiglitz and Linda Bilmes; Bad Money by Kevin Phillips; The Wrecking Crew by Thomas Frank; How Doctors Think by Jerome Groopman; Microtrends by Mark J. Penn and E. Kinney Zalesne; Nudge by Cass Sunstein and Richard Thaler; Power, Faith and Fantasy by Michael B. Oren; From Baghdad with Love by Lt Col Jay Kopelman; Swapping Lives by Jane Green; and Absolutely American by David Lipsky. Angela has also publicized the PEN American Center’s World Voices Festival of International Literature and the PEN American Center’s annual Literary Gala, working with authors such as Salman Rushdie, Nadine Gordimer, and Orhan Pamuk.

Angela was formerly a senior publicist at Basic Books, and began her career at Doubleday Broadway Books, where she was the publicist responsible for all books published as part of Doubleday's Religious Publishing Division. A graduate of American University in Washington, D.C., she was a journalist prior to entering the publishing industry.
